Tonight, I anticipate a close back-and-forth contest that favors the ‘dog.
New York is still without its superstar, Breanna Stewart, and won’t be at full strength in this matchup. Meanwhile, Dallas has battled lately and has covered this number in six of its past seven games.
Although I expect Dallas to keep it close, I do expect New York’s Sabrina Ionescu to have a strong performance and score at least 20 points.
The former Oregon standout leads the Liberty with an average of 20.4 points per game and has seen an uptick in scoring in Stewart’s absence.
Ionescu, the reigning 3-point contest champion, has averaged 30 points per game over her past three games.
