We start things off with Maple Leafs vs. Hurricanes, where PRO Projections flagged veteran forward John Tavares as a smart pick.
Tavares’ shots line is over/under 2.5, and our models suggest bettors take the over.
While we only project Tavares for about 2.5 shots on net, we’re getting a great bet with the over ranging from +125 to +142 (FanDuel), formulating a +3.5% edge
Secondly, in the Canadiens vs. Senators game, projections love another star forward over the total: Sens’ Brady Tkachuk.
Our NHL models essentially feel Tkachuk clears his standard line of 3.5 shots on goal with ease, pegging the winger for 4.6 pucks on net vs. the Habs tonight. The 5.1% edge is the second best of the day.
