I’m staring at a #DadLife Saturday right in the face.

We’re out the door at 9:30 a.m. and won’t get home until, well, who knows?

This doesn’t leave much of a window to get my Saturday action down, so before heading out for the day, I’m leaning on the Action Network’s PRO betting tools to help point me in the right direction.

And based on the latest NHL odds and value signals for Maple Leafs vs. Avalanche, I couldn’t help but tail the wiseguys for this Saturday night matchup.

Here’s what I found.

NHL Prediction: Maple Leafs vs. Avalanche

Colorado is a -120 favorite against Toronto based on the latest NHL odds.

However, professional bettors have already had an impact on this line.

The Maple Leafs initially opened at +114 before several steam moves pushed Toronto down to the current consensus of +100.

Steam refers to sudden, uniform line movement across the market that is often the result of bettors with the resources and respect to move odds getting down on the same side of the same game at multiple sportsbooks, all at once.

In addition, the Action Network’s NHL public betting data is reporting that Toronto has landed 58% of the money, but on just 29% of the tickets.

A bets-vs.-dollars discrepancy this vast is a key indicator that the larger-sized wagers are coming in on the underdog.

And finally, while the Leafs are +100 at most sportsbooks, FanDuel is a bit better at +104, so be sure shop for the best odds if grabbing Toronto in this matchup.

PRO Report Prediction: Maple Leafs +104 via FanDuel
