With a win on Sunday Night Football, the Cowboys can clinch their first NFC East title since 2018.
The Cowboys have already clinched a playoff berth and are currently the No. 2 seed in the NFC. Wins against Washington, the Arizona Cardinals and the Philadelphia Eagles gives them a puncher’s chance to jump the Green Bay Packers and secure a first-round bye. But most likely, that would be good enough for the two-seed heading into the playoffs.
The Action Network’s Travis Reed’s model projections give the Cowboys a 14% chance to nab the No. 1 seed.

Meanwhile, Washington is fighting for a playoff spot, but is not in a very good position. Even with a win tonight, it would need a lot of help down the stretch to sneak into the postseason. Reed’s model gives Washington just a 6% chance of making the playoffs.
The advanced numbers favor the Cowboys in every conceivable metric for this contest. And the trend lines have shown that.
This line opened at Cowboys -5 but sharp action quickly moved it all the way to -10.
And even at that -10 price, the Cowboys spread is getting more than 90% of the total money from bettors.
