You don’t often get the double “undecided” on Sports Insights’ Live NFL Odds page when it comes to starting quarterbacks, but that’s exactly what is transpiring for Sunday’s Week 10 game between the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets (1 p.m. ET, CBS).
The Bills’ quarterback situation was already well known with rookie Josh Allen getting in a limited practice Wednesday as he works toward a return from an injured elbow.
However, news broke early Wednesday afternoon that Jets starting quarterback Sam Darnold was spotted in a walking boot and did not practice.
Sources: #Jets Sam Darnold has a significant foot sprain. He will not play vs Bills…. At this point, the team is not optimistic that he’ll be ready for Patriots game after the Week 11 bye…. but we’ll see.

With both teams likely going with their backups under center on Sunday, oddsmakers have dropped the Jets from 7-point to 6.5-point home favorites against the Bills.
The over/under hasn’t moved, but juice on the under did adjust from 37u-110 to 37u-114 following the news of Darnold’s injury.
