Saints vs. Chiefs Anytime Touchdown Scorer Monday Night Football Props

Week 5 wraps up with NFL Monday Night Football between the New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Beyond spread and total bets, I’m looking at Saints vs Chiefs anytime touchdown scorers for Monday Night Football.

Here are my two anytime TD scorer picks for Saints-Chiefs.

Gilles Gallant’s Saints vs. Chiefs Anytime Touchdown Scorer Props

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Anytime Touchdown (+500, Caesars)
  • Juwan Johnson Anytime Touchdown (+500, FanDuel)

JuJu Smith-Schuster, who caught a touchdown in Week 3, may end up being the WR1 by default in Kansas City.

Before the Rashee Rice injury, he was playing close to 55% of snaps and now, with Rice out, his playing time should increase. He’s actually run a route on 90% of dropbacks since coming back to the Chiefs.

The Saints play Man Coverage at a top-five rate. Other than Rice, Smith-Schuster is the only Chiefs player to catch a touchdown against man-defense this season.

This will be another long shot, but I like Juwan Johnson’s potential for Monday. He scored a touchdown in Week 1 and is running a route on 80% of dropbacks.

The Chiefs’ secondary has been solid but isn’t immune to passing plays. They rank 19th in defensive DVOA against the pass compared to their top-two run defense.

If the Saints get in the red zone, Johnson is a big target for Derek Carr to look toward.
