Sunday Night Football of the NFL’s wild card weekend features a divisional contest between the Ravens and the Bengals.
While Lamar Jackson won’t be playing due to a knee injury that has kept him sidelined for around a month now, the Ravens aren’t even close to the biggest underdog of the week.
The Dolphins closed ahead of their contest as 14-point underdogs while the Seahawks closed as 10.5-point underdogs, so the market is giving Baltimore and Jim Harbaugh a sliver of respect.

Rather than locking in a side against the spread in this contest, the one angle that sharps are in agreement upon is the under.
We’ve seen mixed signals on the spread, with the number getting pushed in both directions by perceived sharp action, but there’s only been one direction for the total, and that’s low.
This number opened at 44, and some of the line movement is certainly due to Jackson’s confirmed absence, but a whopping 84% of the money is on the under despite just 49% of the tickets being on that side.
Currently, the best number available is at FanDuel, while some books have already lowered this number to 40.
