Early Money Jumping on Panthers-Steelers Thursday Night Football Matchup

Both the Carolina Panthers and Pittsburgh Steelers are streaking. Pittsburgh (5-2-1)  is coming off a huge win over AFC North rival Baltimore while Carolina topped Tampa Bay in Week 9 to move to 6-2 on the season.

The Panthers and Steelers will meet on Thursday Night Football in Week 10, providing an exciting matchup for both fans and bettors.

Pittsburgh opened as a 5-point home favorite and bettors are already jumping all over the underdog Panthers.

Carolina has attracted 71% of tickets and 77% of dollars wagered on the spread, so it’s no surprise to see the line down to Steelers -4 across the market, and even to -3.5 at one book.

Oddsmakers are also expecting a high-scoring game, opening the over/under at 50.

According to our Bet Labs software, that is the highest Thursday Night Football total of the season, eclipsing the Indianapolis Colts-New England Patriots matchup on Oct. 4 that closed at 49.5.
