Sunday of NFL Week 13 marks another round of betting PRO Projections’ data-driven touchdown picks.
Factoring in price, our experts predictions and more, six picks make the cut from our state-of-the-art tool to score an anytime touchdown Sunday.
Frankly, touchdown picks Sunday from PRO Projections feature extremely attractive odds: Four of the six below are +500 or better!
It’s the first year we’ve unleashed our proprietary data in one of the most fun betting markets in sports. Add a little more spice to Sunday Week 13 with a bunch of projection-fueled touchdown bets from Action PRO models.
NFL Touchdown Picks, Odds, Expert TD Predictions Sunday Week 13
You won’t find a lot of popular picks in this column.
The Derrick Henrys and Saquon Barkleys of the world are properly (or overly) priced in touchdown markets this deep into the season, and our experts are completely aware of players who have more than likely peaked.
This week, predictions feature a bunch of players with either one or zero touchdowns this season.
I would not be worried in the slightest; PRO Projections have correctly predicted these players to score their first touchdowns in just the last few weeks:
- Xavier Gipson (+1800)
- Tanner Hudson (+1000)
- John Metchie (+1000)
- Will Dissly (+425)
- Gus Edwards (+420)
Let’s crush it Sunday. Picks span across 1 p.m. and 4:25 p.m ET windows.
NFL Touchdown Prediction No. 1 for Sunday
Action PRO’s biggest edge for the entire Week 13 is, as mentioned, a player who has not scored a TD all year. Naturally, the price is too good to pass up, as projections expect a breakout sooner than later.
In the early window, the Colts travel to take on the Patriots. Running back Antonio Gibson for New England is the pick to click for touchdown bets, though you wouldn’t think it.
Rhamondre Stevenson gets the majority of work, but has produced virtually nothing the last month. Gibson’s versatility as a pass-catcher may be better-suited for the Patriots with Drake Maye under center, and PRO Projections at least forecast some optimist for Gibson heading forward.
Gibson is priced +650 at DraftKings, implying about a 12% chance he scores a touchdown vs. the Colts; that may be a figure too skewed to recency bias.
Our NFL experts project Gibson, who doesn’t have a TD yet, to score about 24% of the time this Sunday.
It’s one of the biggest edges we’ve logged the last few weeks.
PRO Projections Pick: Antonio Gibson Touchdown (+650)
NFL Touchdown Prediction No. 2 for Sunday
Don’t know Chargers RB Kimani Vidal? You will soon.
Star J.K. Dobbins is banged up, and if you’ve watched Gus Edwards try and run a football into the second level, you’re aware that Jim Harbaugh’s likely looking for a game-changer in the backfield.
Vidal, a sixth-rounder out of Troy, is expected to see an increased role vs. the Falcons.
Vidal is +500 to score at FanDuel, which means about a 16.7% chance. However, with extended snaps, our NFL experts forecast the shifty back to score about 24% of the time Sunday.
A potential breakout is looming.
PRO Projections Pick: Kimani Vidal Touchdown (+500)
NFL Touchdown Prediction No. 3 for Sunday
Let’s stay with the Chargers vs. Falcons game, as Falcons TE Kyle Pitts is another touchdown pick which made the cut.
Pitts is +320 at FanDuel. Our prediction is Pitts scores 33% of the time, implying the fair price should be about +202.
The Chargers play a bend-but-don’t-break style of defense. If Kirk Cousins and Bijan Robinson can lead the Falcons into the red area, Pitts — a phenomenal athlete — is key against a rangy L.A. defense.
PRO Projections Pick: Kyle Pitts Touchdown (+320)
NFL Touchdown Prediction No. 4 for Sunday
Panthers WR Xavier Legette is the second-largest projection edge behind Gibson of the entire week.
Legette is +270 to score (Caesars), which is well off our optimistic prediction of a touchdown 41% of the time.
Carolina lost key pass-catcher Ja’Tavion Sanders to injury last week. Legette is slowly emerging as an impactful option in the Panthers’ passing game alongside Bryce Young.
PRO Projections Pick: Xavier Legette Touchdown (+270)
And speaking of…
NFL Touchdown Prediction No. 5 for Sunday
Carolina QB Bryce Young is a bet!
He’s +750 at FanDuel, implying about an 11-12% probability of a touchdown. Action PRO models give Young an 18% chance to score, marking one of the strongest bets in the afternoon window.
PRO Projections Pick: Bryce Young Touchdown (+750)
NFL Touchdown Prediction No. 6 for Sunday
Finally, Saints TE Foster Moreau is a savvy wager at +650 (FanDuel) to score in the Rams vs. Saints game.
NFL expert Sean Koerner noted in the recent Fantasy Flex Podcast that Moreau’s flying under the radar in the Saints offense, stressing the veteran tight end’s high route participation.
Our predictive models give Moreau an 18% chance to score at any point Sunday, which is higher than the price (+650, 12.5%) implies.
PRO Projections Pick: Foster Moreau Touchdown (+650)
