NFL Suspends Buffalo Bills Von Miller 4 Games for Violating League Policy

The Buffalo Bills will be without one of their most experienced defensive players for at least the next four games.

The NFL announced that it has suspended Bills edge rusher Von Miller for the next four games for violating the league’s personal conduct policy, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

The eight-time Pro Bowler will be eligible for reinstatement after Buffalo’s Week 8 game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Buffalo is the fourth-highest team on the odds board to win the Super Bowl at +900 odds at DraftKings. The odds did not change in the wake of the suspension.

Miller turned himself into authorities last November in Texas after he was charged with third-degree assault of a pregnant woman. Miller called the accusations “overblown” and “100 percent false” last December. The victim recanted the accusations to a local news station, calling it a “huge misunderstanding.”

The Bills will likely be able to void Miller’s contract with cause if they choose to do so due to the suspension.

Miller has three sacks and five total tackles through four games so far this season.
