NFL Picks | Predictions Sunday, Oct. 29
Sunday’s trend banks on fading certain sides – and it was perfect on last week’s betting picks, going 3-0.
Bet Labs’ 57-%winning model labeled “Fade Covering Teams” is alerted to bet against:
- Teams covering the spread by more than five points on average
- Versus an opponent with a win percentage between 0-60%
- Past Week 4
The three recent betting picks were all underdogs.
The NFL teams not only covered the spreads – they all won outright.
- Vikings (+7) vs. 49ers
- Patriots (+9.5) vs. Bills
- Steelers (+3.5) vs. Rams

It’s a fade on the Texans and bet on the Panthers this Sunday between the top two quarterback picks in the recent draft.
Houston is covering the spread by more than a touchdown on average (7.58).
It’s not a sexy side, but the Panthers — who are 0-5-1- ATS — fit the model.
PRO System Prediction: Panthers ATS
Bengals vs. 49ers ATS Pick

It’s the third straight week the model has rolled out a fade on the 49ers.
Fade Covering Teams correctly predicted a Browns cover against the 49ers in Week 6, and then again versus Minnesota this past Monday.
It’s a pick on the Bengals catching points off a bye.
PRO System Prediction: Bengals ATS
Ravens vs. Cardinals ATS Pick

The angle here is fading the Ravens and betting the Cardinals against the spread.
Baltimore pummeled Detroit last week, and now, the Ravens are covering the spread by an average of 6.57 points per game.
Entering Sunday of NFL Week 8, the Ravens are likely overpriced in the betting markets.
PRO System Prediction: Cardinals ATS
