The 2022 NFL playoffs get underway with this weekend’s newly-implemented six-game, three-day Wild Card Round.

The new Wild Card Weekend schedule offers two Saturday matchups, three Sunday games and finishes with Cardinals vs. Rams on Monday Night Football.

While there’s still plenty of before before Cardinals vs. Rams kicks off early next week, The Action Network’s NFL PRO betting tools are already poring through the data for Wild Card Weekend have pegged Monday night’s matchup as the biggest early edge.

Since there is no guarantee that this edge will remain as large as it is right now, let’s go ahead and examine the Cardinals vs. Rams wager that our NFL betting model likes so much.

Cardinals vs. Rams Betting Prediction

The Cardinals and Rams split their two contests this season with the road team ultimately winning each of those matchups.

And when it comes to Monday’s wild-card game, The Action Network’s NFL PRO Projections like the road team as well.

The Rams currently sit as 4-point favorites over the Cardinals across the market, our betting model projects this spread at Arizona +2.9, resulting in a 4.3% edge which is, as I  mentioned above, the biggest early edge of the weekend’s NFL playoff games.

At the time of writing, most shops are sitting at +4 in this game, but a couple, like DraftKings Sportsbook, have dipped to +3.5, so be sure to find one of the many books offering the full four points.

PRO Projections Prediction: Cardinals +4
