NFL Odds, Sharpest Picks for Wild Card Playoffs
*Odds as of Monday morning
Chargers vs. Texans Pick
Saturday, Jan. 11 | 4:30 p.m. ET | CBS
Despite going on the road, the Chargers are 3-point favorites against the Texans on Saturday afternoon.
However, the market’s sharpest bettors are passing on the spread in favor of the over/under. As of the time of writing, the Chargers vs. Texans total sits at 43.5 at every major sportsbooks.
This line initially hit the market at 44.5 before pro bettors steamed the under late Sunday night, knocking this number down to the current consensus of 43.5.
For those curious, steam refers to sudden, uniform line movement across the market that is often the result of bettors with the resources and respect to move odds getting down on the same wager at multiple sportsbooks, all at once.
PRO Pick: Under 43.5 (-110)
Steelers vs. Ravens Pick
Saturday, Jan. 11 | 8 p.m. ET | Amazon Prime Video
Baltimore opened as an 8.5-point favorite against Pittsburgh and that still appears to be too short for the wiseguys.
Sharps steamed the Ravens at that opener of -8.5, pushing the spread out to a consensus of -9.5 as of Monday morning.
It’ll now be interesting to monitor whether there’s a Pittsburgh buy back waiting should this number reach Steelers +10 at multiple sportsbooks.
PRO Pick: Ravens -9.5 (-110)
