Our expert projections for NFL anytime touchdown scorers have been killing it, and I’m getting a head start on my first three picks of the week.
My first two picks come from a game you wouldn’t necessarily think of a goldmine for ATD picks, but here we are. One is an 18-1 long shot as Tommy DeVito returns to the spotlight for the Giants.
Let’s dive into my first touchdown picks for NFL Week 12.
NFL Touchdown Scorers Week 12
Odds for all three picks are as of 6:20 p.m. ET on Friday.

[subheader text=”Jalin Hyatt Anytime TD Scorer (+2000)” subtext=”” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/nfl/100/nyg.png” trailinglogourl=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/256064_caesars_800x200.png” trailinglink=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/online-sports-betting/reviews/caesars-sportsbook” trailinglinkfollow=”false”][/subheader]
This is a bit speculative, but Jalin Hyatt is the next man up for the Giants with Malik Nabers not practicing on Friday with a groin injury
In the three games that saw one of the Giants top-three WRs (Nabers, Wan’Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton) out of action, Hyatt stepped up with an average route participation of 73.4%. Notably, two of those were games Nabers missed with a concussion, and one was last week with Slayton missing with a concussion of his own.
So, in both cases Hyatt stepped in and fifth WR Isaiah Hodgins only got a small handful of snaps.
This week, Hyatt gets a huge plus-matchup. He has barely produced against man coverage this season, but he has against Cover 3, which the Buccaneers have played at the highest rate in the NFL over the last six weeks. Hyatt’s average depth of target of 25.6 yards against Cover 3 lends itself to increased possibility of a long touchdown, even with DeVito under center.
This is a pretty speculative play, so just a small bet size is warranted.

[subheader text=”Bucky Irving Anytime TD Scorer (+160)” subtext=”” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/nfl/100/tb.png” trailinglogourl=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/859377_Bet365@1x.png” trailinglink=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/online-sports-betting/reviews/bet365″ trailinglinkfollow=”false”][/subheader]
The Buccaneers backfield has mostly turned into a two-man committee between Irving and Rachaad White rather than the three-headed monster from Week 7. Sean Tucker’s participation has dropped to 13% or lower in each of the Bucs‘ last three games.
With Mike Evans back in the fold as a legitimate downfield threat, Tampa Bay should have an easier time moving the ball than it did in each of the last three weeks, especially with two of those games coming against top-seven defenses (Chiefs and 49ers).
That’ll open up more touchdown opportunity overall, so I’ll take the more efficient Buccaneers back and play Irving to find the end zone.

[subheader text=”Tre Tucker Anytime TD Scorer (+460)” subtext=”” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/nfl/100/oak.png” trailinglogourl=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/122955_FanDuelSportsBook@1x.jpg” trailinglink=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/online-sports-betting/reviews/fanduel” trailinglinkfollow=”false”][/subheader]
Tre Tucker hasn’t see the same share of deep balls this year as he did last year, but this might be the spot for an uptick.
Last season, Tucker shredded both man coverage and single-high safety looks. While he hasn’t quite had as much success this year, the lower catch rate on these looks certainly hasn’t helped.
With Jakobi Meyers potentially shadowed by Pat Surtain, though, Tucker is poised to take advantage of the Broncos’ seventh-highest rate of single-high safety looks, as well as their sixth-highest rate of man coverage.
