The Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears will meet in the NFC Wild Card Game.

Chicago opened as a 5.5-point favorite against Philadelphia. The Bears will be playing their first home playoff game since January 2011, when they lost to the Packers, 21-14.

Matt Nagy became the first Bears head coach since Paddy Driscoll in 1956 to make the playoffs in their first season. Eleven different head coaches have had an attempt at this mark and failed since Driscoll in 1956.

How the Eagles Reached the Playoffs

The Eagles are back in the playoffs after winning the Super Bowl last season behind Nick Foles. With Carson Wentz injured, it’s Foles who again led Philadelphia back to the playoffs with a chance to repeat.

Philly finished the season 7-9 against the spread, after finishing the regular season and playoffs 13-6 ATS in 2017. The Eagles ended up sneaking in as a wild-card team when the Vikings lost at home to the Bears.

How Bears Reached the Playoffs

The Bears haven’t tasted the playoffs since 2010 and couldn’t have been gifted a better opportunity than to beat their rivals to get in this season. They clinched the NFC North with a win over Aaron Rodgers and Co. in Week 15, covering at home against the Packers for just the second time since the start of the 2010 season.

Chicago finished the regular season 12-4 ATS, making the Bears the NFL’s most profitable team heading into the playoffs.

Betting Trends to Know

The last time the Bears were in a playoff game, Michael Turner and Arian Foster led the NFL in rushing. Yeah, it’s been a while.

  • Stop me if you’ve heard this before: The Eagles are underdogs (again)! Philadelphia covered three consecutive playoff games, all as an underdog, en route to its first Super Bowl in franchise history last season. Over the past five seasons, the Eagles are the only team with three playoff wins as an underdog.
  • The Bears drafted Mitchell Trubisky with the second overall pick in the 2017 draft. Trubisky is 17-8-1 ATS, making him the NFL’s most profitable quarterback ATS since then.
