The Los Angeles Chargers (11-6) will meet the Houston Texans (10-7) on Saturday at NRG Stadium in Houston for a Wild Card weekend game in the NFL playoffs at 4.30 p.m. ET on CBS.
Let’s check out the very best player Chargers vs. Texans props for the first game of Wild Card weekend.
Chargers vs. Texans Player Props

Ahead of Saturday’s game, Quentin Johnston comes into this with a questionable tag, although it’s expected that he plays.
One Charger who won’t be suiting up is Joshua Palmer, which is great news for bettors. Without Palmer last week, we saw Johnston have a career day, catching 13 of 14 passes for 186 yards.
Aside from that Week 18 game, we’ve seen Johnston become more integral to the Chargers offense each passing week. Since returning from injury in Week 9, he’s had 44+ receiving yards in six of 10 games, including four of the past five.
The Texans defense is good, but Johnston should get a chance to cover here given the volume he’ll be getting.
[subheader sizedown=”false” text=”Nico Collins Over 6.5 Receptions (+106)” subtext=”” center=”false” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/nfl/100/hou.png” link1=”” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/122955_FanDuelSportsBook@1x.jpg” trailinglink=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/online-sports-betting/reviews/fanduel” trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]
The Texans may have reached the playoffs, but expectations are low after a poor season that saw them decimated by wide receiver injuries. There’s no Tank Dell or Stefon Diggs, meaning we should see volume for C.J. Stroud’s favorite target: Nico Collins.
He’s only had seven or more receptions in two of his past five games, but there’s reason to be hopeful he has a big game on Saturday. First, we’ve seen Collins get double-digit targets in five of 12 games this season and seven or more in eight.
Given the lack of competition for targets and the possibility that they’re playing from behind, it should mean Stroud is targeting his favorite wideout.
[subheader sizedown=”false” text=”JK Dobbins Anytime Touchdown (+120)” subtext=”” center=”false” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/nfl/100/hou.png” link1=”” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/477013_DraftKings@1x.png” trailinglink=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/online-sports-betting/reviews/draftkings” trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]
One of the cornerstones of the Jim Harbaugh era in Los Angeles has been the team’s rushing game.
The Chargers invested in the offensive line to keep Justin Herbert upright and make it easier for the team to control the trenches and create running lanes. We’ve seen Harbaugh rely on the run throughout his head coaching career, and JK Dobbins will be the benefactor on Saturday.
Dobbins is expected to play despite being questionable and he should add to his nine touchdowns on the season.
He’s played twice since a four-game absence with injury and had 18 and 19 carries in those two games to end the season. Dobbins is one of the few bellcows in the NFL and he will have every opportunity to find the end zone again.
[subheader sizedown=”false” text=”Diontae Johnson Anytime Touchdown (+700)” subtext=”” center=”false” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/nfl/100/hou.png” link1=”” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/256064_caesars_800x200.png” trailinglink=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/online-sports-betting/reviews/caesars-sportsbook” trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]
[subheader sizedown=”false” text=”Diontae Johnson First Touchdown (+5000)” subtext=”” center=”false” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/nfl/100/hou.png” link1=”” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/122955_FanDuelSportsBook@1x.jpg” trailinglink=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/online-sports-betting/reviews/fanduel” trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]
This is a highly speculative wager, and I’d recommend only putting a sprinkle on it, but there’s value to be had in backing Diontae Johnson to score anytime and first in this game.
The Texans got Johnson involved for the first time last week, with the 28-year-old catching two of his four targets.
With no Dell or Diggs and the likes of Metchie or Woods not being a good enough standard, the Texans will surely give Johnson more opportunity.
He scored three times for the Panthers in just seven games earlier this season despite their struggles and found the end zone six times for the Steelers last year. He’s a good wideout, and if the chance arises, then +700 to score anytime or +5000 to score first could be a huge value.
