Sunday’s Bengals vs. 49ers spread fits a 57%-winning angle Sunday of NFL Week 8.

And we know just the NFL side to consider betting in Sunday’s game – or should I say fading?

A 57% NFL angle in Bet Labs singles out teams to fade against the spread.

And Bengals vs. 49ers — the top game Sunday of NFL Week 8 — is a match for this system, which accounts for week number, cover rate and more.

Sunday’s Bengals vs. 49ers line has been in motion ever since Brock Purdy hit the injury report earlier in the week.

The ‘Niners have been upset in back-to-back games entering Sunday of NFL Week 8.

Joe Burrow and Cincinnati, meanwhile, are back on the upswing after losing four straight against the spread out of the gates.

Let’s dive into a Bengals vs. 49ers prediction, utilizing one of my favorite NFL betting angles in Bet Labs.

Bengals vs 49ers Prediction

It’s the third time this season the 57% NFL angle has been alerted to bet against one of the two teams.

The previous two occasions, it nailed both predictions against the spread.

The Bengals vs. 49ers line dropped once Purdy entered concussion protocol but is back on its way up.

Admittedly, it wouldn’t have mattered if Purdy or backup Sam Darnold was starting – the pick would have remained the same.

Today, Bet Labs’ Fade Covering Teams recommends fading the San Francisco 49ers and betting the Cincinnati Bengals to cover the spread.

This 57%-winning angle banks on betting against teams when they:

  • Cover the spread by more than 5 points per game on average (49ers)
  • Vs. teams with a win percentage of 0-60% (Bengals)
  • In Weeks 4 or later

San Francisco is covering the spread by 5.36 points per game on average.

This angle was also alerted to bet against the Niners in Week 6 (vs. Browns) and Week 7 (vs. Vikings).

Both opponents not only covered the spread, but won outright.

PRO Prediction: Bengals ATS
