TCU vs. Georgia Odds, Picks: Where Is Betting Action Flowing in on National Championship?

The college football season started all the way back in August, when Northwestern defeated Nebraska in Dublin, and we’ve reached the final game of the season as TCU will take on Georgia for the National Championship.

This is no surprise for the defending champion Bulldogs, who came into the season as one of the favorites for the title once again, but the same can not be said for TCU. The Horned Frogs opened as long as 200-1 prior to the season.

The TCU vs. Georgia odds reflect that as the Bulldogs are currently listed at -13 or -13.5 at all major American sportsbooks. That’s paired with a moneyline ranging from -435 to -530.

Originally, a significant majority of the action was coming in on TCU, who moved down to +12, but the handle has evened out as we get closer to kick.

As of just one week ago, over 75% of the spread handle was on the Horned Frogs, but now 57% of the cash is on Georgia. However, still only 29% of the spread tickets are on the Bulldogs.

On the moneyline, Georgia has gotten 64% of the tickets, but it accounts for just 35% of the money, as some hefty TCU moneyline wagers have been placed. In terms of the total, bettors are loving the over as 80% of the tickets are on the high side.

Despite this, the handle is somewhat even as just 55% of the money is on the over. The number has moved from an opening 61.5 to a consensus price of 63.5

TCU and Georgia will take the field at 7:30 p.m. ET to determine who will take home the title.
