Friday College Football Odds & Predictions: Sharps Betting Virginia-Syracuse & Boise State-UTEP

With a few college football games set to be played on Thursday and Friday this week, there are a number of chances to find value, and that is exactly what sharp bettors have been looking to do.

We’ve tracked sharp money coming in on two Friday college football games. First, there is Virginia vs. Syracuse, and later that night is Boise State vs. UTEP.

Let’s dive into where the sharp action is coming in ahead of these two contests.

Odds and data as of Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. ET.

Friday CFB Sharp Money

Virginia vs. Syracuse

7 p.m. ET

Syracuse pulled off one of the wildest wins that we saw in Week 2, and the Orangemen are now back in early action with a matchup against Virginia.

The Cavaliers eked out a victory over Old Dominion last week, and they’ll be looking to show that they’re better than that performance.

Sharps aren’t buying into the Cavaliers, however. 75% of the betting tickets and 86% of the money are on the Orange to cover as a nine-point favorite, making sharps and squares aligned on the game.

Sharp Action: Syracuse -9

Boise State vs. UTEP

9 p.m. ET

The Broncos come into this matchup at 2-1 after opening the year with a loss to Oregon State and following that up with victories over New Mexico and Tennessee-Martin.

UTEP, on the other hand, is 1-3 with a lone win over New Mexico State. As 15.5-point underdogs, sharp bettors are liking the value they’re getting with the Miners.

Just 26% of the betting tickets are on UTEP to pull out a cover, but 66% of the cash is on the same side. Additionally, the under has gotten pushed down by sharp bettors as well.

That number has moved from 47 to 45.5, where it currently resides.

Sharp Action: UTEP +15.5
