I’m accomplishing two things Saturday for the opening weekend of college football: going low and slow on a pulled pork, and providing up-to-date FCS odds, picks and line movement Saturday of college football Week 1. If it involves an FCS team and super sharp bets, it’s getting covered. No ifs, ands or buts.

Speaking of but(t)s: I can’t share my pork with you, but I can dish out the inside scoop on where all the influential bets are landing on FCS games this weekend.

Below, I’ll provide an up-to-date look at which FCS spreads and over/unders are getting bet big (or at least bigger than a standard bettor may wager on an FCS game) for Saturday of college football Week 1.

A respected bet landed on the Washington State Cougars -26.5 right around 8:30 a.m. ET at a popular sportsbook. This was classified as a reverse line move, as PRO Report tracks a bulk of the money backing Portland State.

The move bumped the Cougars up to as high as -28.

We logged a big bet on Idaho State +26.5, which arrived right around 9 a.m at BetRivers. The shop immediately went to Oregon State -25.

Northern Illinois -34.5 was hammered, steaming the Huskies all the way up to as high as -36 against in-state foe Western Illinois. This one landed at BetRivers. PRO supports this, with the sharp-action signal live on NIU.

Our first total landed a big bet Saturday morning: Weber State vs. Washington under 52.5. It’s down to 51.5 at FanDuel.

Weber State vs. Washington is the last game tonight. We’ve found late start times for college football games have led to lower overall scores regarding the over/under. Games kicking off at 10 p.m. ET or later have ended up 303-237-1 (56.1%) to the under the past 10 years. In games starting at this hour since 2017, the under has prevailed with a record of 202-148 (57.7%) entering the year.

And how about this? Weber State +27.5 was bet 11 minutes after the total. Bettors might be fading Washington’s offense, which lost a whole host of players to the NFL Draft.

Memphis vs. North Alabama Odds, Line Movement

Memphis vs. North Alabama over the total is a hot bet. The total took some respected action at 62 and is on its way to 63 at at least one spot.

Austin Peay vs. Louisville over the total has been steamed twice now: Once at 52.5 earlier this morning when I was sleeping, and again at 53.5, which landed at FanDuel Virginia at 9:36 a.m. ET.

Someone likes Louisville against the spread, too. The Cardinals took a bet at -37.5 at DraftKings two minutes after the total flew.

St. Francis (PA) vs. Dayton Odds, Line Movement

St. Francis -6.5 is far and away the biggest steam move of the morning. They were bet at 9:47 a.m. ET at BetRivers – and adjusted all the way up to a peak of -10.5.

Eastern Kentucky vs. Mississippi State Odds, Line Movement

Mississippi State took influential money at 10:34 a.m. at BetRivers. The spread was Bulldogs -25, but some shops are adjusting to 26.5, perhaps on the way up to a key number of 28.

USF was one of the best ‘over’ teams last year. However, the Bethune-Cookman vs. USF under took big money at 10:45 a.m. ET at Caesars, which adjusted from 60.5 to 59.5.

Texas State is expected to put up numbers in GJ Kinne’s new scheme. The market is perhaps expecting an outbreak in Week 1, as Lamar vs. Texas State over 60.5 caught big money at a respected shop.

BetRivers is on the way up, showing 61. This one probably doesn’t get back to the key number of 59.

The South Dakota State vs. Oklahoma State line was hovering around double digits all week. Once the line hit Oklahoma State -12.5, sharps decided to indulge. The Cowboys are -13 as of noon ET.

Saint Francis (PA) vs. Dayton Odds, Line Movement

Saint Francis (PA) vs. Dayton may be the most entertaining market Saturday. Saint Francis went from -6.5 to -10.5, down to -6.

Bet Labs then tracked money on Dayton +6 … two minutes later, another bettor or group took a cheap Saint Francis -6 (105). Fun stuff.
