4 College Football Spread Picks for Week 9 Using Expert ATS Trend

Four college spreads for Saturday of Week 9 fit right in the sweet spot of a premium situational angle.

One of our various PRO Systems popped, noting a whole list of teams that may be flying under the radar to cover the point spread

All four picks Saturday are against the spread. These games feature high-profile teams ranked inside the Top 25 — games like Nebraska vs. Ohio State, Washington vs. Indiana and more.

Upon stacking up all the games, a common theme is revealed.

Expert Week 9 College Football Picks ATS

The featured, expert ATS trend boasts a 60% win rate. And it feasts on huge market overreactions.

PRO Systems identified four teams in Week 9 that shouldn’t be docked due to perceived travel or fatigue:

  • Nebraska (at Ohio State)
  • SMU (at Duke)
  • Washington (at Indiana)
  • LSU (at Texas A&M)

Our Road Streak PRO System banks on teams playing between their second and fifth road game, given they’re in certain Power Four conferences.

When the total is 54 or less, and the game attracts more betting activity than normal, the road team has covered about 60% of the time — an excellent clip over the long haul.

For what it’s worth, Penn State also technically fits the mold. However, because the Nittany Lions are on a bye week, there’s a chance the market won’t buy into any travel or fatigue narrative.

For instance, Nebraska is getting 25.5 points at Ohio State. The Cornhuskers, despite getting blasted last weekend at Indiana, are a match for the proprietary trend. They looked awful last week, but teams cut from similar cloths showcase a decent, subsequent track record.

SMU, meanwhile, is a favorite, laying -11. The Mustangs probably shouldn’t downgraded too heavily despite their road status; they’re actually heating up.

Washington (+7) and LSU (+2.5) are the two other road sides submitted by Road Streak.
