The top four on my Associated Press Top 25 ballot should look familiar. It’s the same as last week: No. 1 Georgia, followed by Texas, Ohio State and Alabama.
The Bulldogs visit the Crimson Tide on Saturday, so that should shake things up in next week’s rankings.
Action Network senior writer Collin Wilson also has the same four teams atop his betting power ratings heading into Week 5. New to my Top 25 ballot this week is BYU and Pitt, replacing NIU and Nebraska.
Let’s dive into my college football rankings for Week 5 and compare my ballot to Collin’s betting power ratings.
Note: The “AP” column is my AP Poll ballot ranking for each team. The “PR” column is where each team sits in Action Network’s betting power ratings.

For the second consecutive week, Collin and I have the top four teams in the exact same order. We also agreed on nine of the top 10 teams but ranked most of them in different spots.
The only disagreement is Utah. I have the Utes at No. 10, while Collin put them at No. 16. USC, Collin’s No. 10 team, comes in at No. 15 on my AP ballot.

There’s not much agreement between the two of us concerning the teams I ranked between No. 11 and No. 20. Only five are in the same grouping: Iowa State, Clemson, Michigan, LSU and Notre Dame.
Our biggest disagreements are my No. 19 and No. 20 teams: Illinois and BYU. Collin has the Illini and Cougars power-rated at No. 39 and No. 38, respectively.
[subheader sizedown=”false” text=”Oklahoma State Cowboys” subtext=”” center=”false” showbar=”true” aprank=”21″ prank=”24″ logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/ncaaf/100/oks.png” link1follow=”true”][/subheader]

Oklahoma State and Oklahoma, both coming off home losses to ranked opponents, come in at No. 21 and No. 22 on my ballot.
Collin’s biggest difference on the final five teams on my ballot concerns No. 23 UNLV and No. 24 Pitt. He power-rates the Rebels at No. 43 and the Panthers at No. 53.
Collin also has four teams in the top 25 of his betting power ratings that were not on my ballot: No. 15 Texas A&M, No. 19 Kentucky, No. 23 Iowa and No. 25 Indiana.
