The week before the Super Bowl isn’t exactly action-packed, but as long as there are some sporting events, we will be okay. We’re almost there.
Tonight’s college basketball slate boasts just 16 games, but at least there are a few solid games. One of those is the Kansas-OK State affair, which will be nationally televised on ESPN2.

The No.3 Jayhawks are looking to catch up to No. 1 Baylor, a school that’s 17-1 overall and 6-0 in Big 12 play. Can Oklahoma State, which has yet to win a conference game, get in the way?
Kansas vs. Oklahoma State Sharp Report
9 p.m. ET | ESPN2
The Cowboys have not been good this year. They had one decent road victory against Houston, but as I said, have fallen flat in conference play.
Guess who sharps are hammering?
After opening as 9-point dogs, the Cowboys are down to +7 and even +6.5 at some books.
We’ve tracked Bet Signals at +9, +8 and +7.5, meaning professional bettors were hitting each of those individual numbers. We’ve yet to see a wave of sharp action on the current number, however, meaning the value may have dried up like Green Lake (obscure reference from the book/film Holes).
This actually isn’t even a Pros vs. Joes affair, as the public is surprisingly fading Kansas, too.
Fifty-four percent of bets are on the Cowboys, which is not a crazy number, but typically highly-ranked popular teams like Kansas command the majority of the action.
Those 54% of tickets account for more than 75% of the money, which makes sense given the sharp activity.
