College basketball over/unders have been popular among the market’s sharpest bettors so far on Friday, but it’s the Monmouth vs. Hampton spread that’s drawing the bigger wagers in this CAA Conference Tournament first-round matchup.
As the No. 12 and No. 11 seeds, respectively, Monmouth taking on Hampton is essentially a play-in game in the CAA Tournament and therefore has a very short spread.
Are casual bettors chomping at the bit to get down on a game between the CAA’s two worst teams? Probably not.
