It’s a challenging matchup against a good Orlando defense, but Payton Pritchard should see a nice role with Jayson Tatum unlikely to play in Game 2 tonight.
Pritchard saw a solid 2.8% usage rate boost with Tatum off the floor this season. His usage jumped by a team-leading 4.9% in the 10 games Tatum missed during the regular season. Pritchard averaged 19 points in those games.
Pritchard played 25 minutes in Game 1. There’s a good chance that number ticks up here. Boston basically played 7 guys in Game 1. Tatum soaked up 40 minutes, so there is a ton of playing time available.
I’d expect Pritchard and Al Horford to absorb the majority of those minutes. When he played 30+ minutes in the regular season, Pritchard averaged 18.3 points per game.
Pick: Payton Pritchard Over 11.5 Points (-125)
