I took Williams’ rebounds and PRA props on Friday, which cashed easily. I considered the triple-double but didn’t pull the trigger. I don’t want to make that mistake again. It’s become a trend when everyone sits for the Thunder.

Williams has recorded triple-doubles in each of his last 3 starts. More interestingly, he started the 4th quarter on Friday with 8 rebounds. He grabbed 2 more in just a couple of minutes before being pulled. He played only 25 minutes.

I’m guessing he would have stayed in the game longer if he were still chasing the triple-double. The fact that OKC seems aware of Williams’ stat line is a big plus.

Jaylin Williams and his triple-doubles get all the headlines, but Joe has been right there in terms of stepping up with OKC’s regulars out.

In the last 3 games when everyone has sat, Joe has averaged 6.7 assists on 11.3 potential assists. Last time out against Utah, he paced the team with 9 assists on 15 potential assists. Williams’ 10 assists came on just 8 potential assists, which is always interesting.

New Orleans allows the 4th-most assists per game. They’re 29th in defensive rating and 26th in points allowed per game. The Pelicans only have 8 available players and gave up 153 points to Miami on Friday in the most lopsided loss in franchise history.

[subheader sizedown=”false” text=”Moses Moody Under 14.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-120, Bet365)” subtext=”Warriors vs. Clippers, 3:30 p.m. ET” center=”false” logo1url=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/759063_Warriors.png” link1=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/nba/odds/golden-state-warriors” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”” trailinglink=”” trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]

This is basically a playoff game for Golden State, as they can avoid the Play-In Tournament with a win. Moody has been de-emphasized down the stretch with the Warriors focusing on bigger games.

He’s played 30+ minutes just twice in the last 10 games, and both times were with other rotation members sidelined (Jonathan Kuminga and Gary Payton II). Golden State should be fully healthy now. Moody has been held under 20 minutes in 2 of the last 4 games, so the floor is low.

Despite the decreased playing time, Moody has remained in the starting lineup. He’s stuck playing with the highest-usage players but doesn’t benefit from a starter-level workload.

This is a big game for the Clippers too, as they could land anywhere from the No. 4 seed to the Play-In Tournament depending on other results. LA is 3rd in defensive rating and 4th in points allowed per game. They allow the fewest rebounds and the 8th-fewest assists per game.
