Going back to the well on this bet with the same matchup vs. NO, the only difference this time is that Zion is definitely out in this game.
DeRozan has been playing good basketball without Fox and has been dishing out the ball at a good rate, hitting the over at this number in 4 of the last 6 games.
I have DeRozan over a 50% chance of hitting this over, making this a good EV bet.
Pick: DeMar DeRozan Over 3.5 Assists (-110)
[subheader sizedown=”false” text=”Kel’el Ware Under 23.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-115)” subtext=”Heat vs Mavericks, 8:30 p.m. ET” center=”false” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/nba/100/mia.png” link1=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/nba/odds/miami-heat” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”” trailinglink=”” trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]
Ware entered the starting lineup in late January and had a nice production run. He averaged 13.7 points, 9.7 rebounds and 0.9 assists across 33.4 MPG in his first 7 starts. Miami made some additions in early February, with a couple of players getting healthy and a few more arriving via trade. The Heat sent out Jimmy Butler — who wasn’t playing — and brought in Andrew Wiggins and Kyle Anderson. Jaime Jaquez and Terry Rozier also returned to the lineup, though the latter is questionable tonight.
The updated roster has led to a minutes crunch, with Ware the primary victim. He’s averaged just 24 MPG over the past 4 games, posting 18.1 PRA. The two-center lineup with Ware and Bam Adebayo hasn’t been getting as much run, which might continue in this matchup.
Dallas has been decimated in the front court, with Daniel Gafford, Dereck Lively and PJ Washington all out tonight. They started 6’7″ Olivier-Maxence Prosper at center against Golden State last night. The Warriors center tandem of Quinten Post and Kevon Looney combined for just 27 minutes.
Erik Spoelstra might not approach the Mavs the same way Steve Kerr did, but it’s another potential avenue for Ware to lose minutes. The overall matchup against Dallas is solid, but Ware might not play enough for it to matter.
Pick: Kel’el Ware Under 23.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-115)

[subheader sizedown=”false” text=”Isaiah Hartenstein Under 13.5 Rebounds & Assists (-125)” subtext=”Thunder vs Timberwolves, 8:30 p.m. ET” center=”false” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/nba/100/okc.png” link1=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/nba/odds/oklahoma-city-thunder” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”” trailinglink=”” trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]
We haven’t gotten confirmation on whether Chet is playing, but I’m assuming he is after missing the last game.
Chet should eat into Hartenstein’s production and the matchup isn’t the best one. The Wolves are one of the better rebounding teams in the league and play at one of the slowest rates.
You can wait for the Chet news if you want, but I’m getting in early here.
Pick: Isaiah Hartenstein Under 13.5 Rebounds & Assists (-125)
