Since returning from injury in mid-December, Miles Bridges is averaging 8.9 rebounds and 13.3 rebound chances across seven games played.
Tonight, the Hornets are likely to be without both LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller, two capable rebounders for Charlotte.
According to RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Bridges is averaging 9.4 rebounds per 36 minutes this season with both Ball and Bridges off of the floor.
He’s posted 7+ rebounds in each of the three games he’s played with Ball unavailable, and at least 7 rebounds in each of the last five games he’s played without Miller.
This is good value in a favorable matchup against Chicago, a team that ranks 25th in rebound percentage and 4th in pace across their last 10 contests.
Pick: Miles Bridges Over 7.5 Rebounds (-120)
[subheader sizedown=”false” text=”Karl-Anthony Towns Over 12.5 Rebounds (-125)” subtext=”Knicks vs. Wizards, 7 p.m. ET” center=”false” logo1url=”https://images.actionnetwork.com/blog/2023/07/new-york-knicks-updated-logo-2023.png” link1=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/nba/odds/new-york-knicks” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”” trailinglink=”” trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]

The Knicks and Wizards surprisingly went to overtime, just the other day, and Towns turned in a 14-rebound performance.
We do have to worry a little bit about the potential for a blowout here, as Washington enters tonight’s contest with a record of 5-24 on the season, compared to New York at 22-10.
However, Towns continues to have some really strong rebounding volume this season, currently averaging 23.3 rebound chances and 13.5 rebounds per game. I’ll take KAT to record Over 12.5 Rebounds in this spot.
Pick: Karl-Anthony Towns Over 12.5 Rebounds
[subheader sizedown=”false” text=”Trey Lyles Under 5.5 Rebounds (-155)” subtext=”Mavericks vs. Kings, 10 p.m. ET” center=”false” logo1url=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/348219_kings.png” link1=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/nba/odds/sacramento-kings” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”” trailinglink=”” trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]
This line seems to be inflated by Lyles’ 8-rebound game on Thursday. He saw extended playing time with Domantas Sabonis sitting out, which is something we’ve seen multiple times this season. Lyles tends to be the big winner when one of the Kings‘ starters misses a game. Sacramento should be fully healthy tonight, so Lyles will likely slide back into his 20-minute role off the bench.
Lyles has averaged 8.3 RPG and 32.6 MPG in three games without Sabonis this season. He played a season-high 41 minutes and grabbed 8 rebounds in a game that Sabonis played, but DeMar DeRozan missed.
In the 17 games Lyles has played with both Sabonis and DeRozan available, he’s averaged 3.4 RPG and 16.6 MPG. Lyles is 4th on the team in rebounds per game (4.5) and 3rd in rebound chances (9.0), but he’s well behind Sabonis and Keegan Murray in both categories.
Dallas is a middling matchup. They’re 14th in rebounding rate on the season and 12th over the past 10 games. The Mavs are 16th in rebounds allowed per game. Their rebounding rate ticks up slightly with Luka Doncic off the floor.
It’s not the type of matchup Lyles could easily exploit in limited minutes. He’ll need something to break right in terms of playing time (Sabonis foul trouble, injury to a starter) to have a reasonable shot at 6 rebounds.
Pick: Trey Lyles Under 5.5 Rebounds

Steph Curry only played 24 minutes in a blowout loss the first time he had to deal with Cleveland this season, but part of the reason he played so few minutes had to do with how the Cavaliers defended him early in the game.
Curry made only 1 field goal in the entire 1st quarter, with Cleveland choosing to send help on screens and keep the ball out of Curry’s hands as much as possible.
Game plans change, and Isaac Okoro being out tonight could lead to a slightly different overall defensive approach, but this is nonetheless a tough matchup for Curry, who is averaging only 22.5 points per game this season.
Pick: Stephen Curry Under 24.5 Points (-115)
[subheader sizedown=”false” text=”Evan Mobley Over 16.5 Points (-115)” subtext=”Cavaliers vs. Warriors, 10 p.m. ET” center=”false” logo1url=”https://images.actionnetwork.com/blog/2023/08/nba-updated-logo-cleveland-cavaliers.png” link1=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/nba/odds/cleveland-cavaliers” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”” trailinglink=”” trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]

This number feels too low, as Mobley has been on a tear of late, scoring 19+ points in seven of his last nine games.
Mobley is averaging 20 points per game over that span, and now draws a matchup against a Warriors team that has allowed the 6th-most points per game in the NBA to power forwards.
This should be a good game environment as well, as both teams play fast and we have a tight 4.5-point spread for tonight’s matchup.
Pick: Evan Mobley Over 16.5 Points
