NBA Odds, Betting Analysis, Picks: Sharp Action, Big Money Hitting Bucks vs. Mavericks, Lakers vs. Nuggets (April 3)

The penultimate Sunday of the NBA season brings a whopping 12 games to the slate, with sharp bettors eager to take action on two of the early contests.

The Dallas Mavericks’ trip to Milwaukee and the Denver Nuggets’ trip to Los Angeles are betting targeted by sharp bettors. Thanks to our Bet Labs data, the Action Network is able to identify how sharp action is being played and it has come in significantly in both of these spots.

And while the stakes might be different for each team, there are playoff implications present for each of the four teams that are active in these games, meaning the viewing experience will be far better than some of the tank-offs that are going on.

Read on to see how the Action Network’s PRO report is evaluating these games.

Sunday NBA Sharp Action

Odds and data are as of 12 p.m. ET on Sunday.

Mavericks vs. Bucks

1 p.m. ET

Though the Bucks are coming off of a major demolition at the hands of the Clippers, both retail bettors and sharp bettors aren’t being scared away from the defending champions.

A total of 56% of the tickets wagered and 89% of the money is sitting with the Bucks, and that’s moved the spread from its opening number of 4.5 to 5.5 or 6, depending on the book.

That 33% edge is more than enough to activate our big money signal, giving you a look at the valuable play for the opening game of the day.

Sharp Action: Bucks -5.5 to 6

Nuggets vs. Lakers

3:30 p.m. ET

Look, don’t shoot the messenger, but I’m going to tell you that the Lakers have some betting value.

We’ve tracked sharp bettors siding with the Lakers in this game, and while just 35% of the tickets are on them, 64% of the money is with the hosts.

As Los Angeles fights to get back into the play-in picture, the franchise need a win and sharps are backing the underdog to get it.

Sharp Action: Lakers +3.5
