The Knicks are playing the front end of a back-to-back against a 76ers team that is clearly focused on the draft.

Mitchell Robinson hasn’t been playing in back-to-backs, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see him sit tonight, then play tomorrow against the Cavs, giving the Knicks the ability to experiment with some things for a potential playoff matchup.

Hart has crushed this line against the 76ers, posting double-digit boards in all three games this season and in 11 of his past 13 against Philadelphia since joining the Knicks. Considering Philadelphia allows the ninth-most rebounds to its opponents, this isn’t that surprising.

Hart has exceeded this rebounding mark in 11 of his past 20 games and in 13 of his past 20 games without Mitchell Robinson.

Let’s also sprinkle in a built-out Triple Double. Hart has one in six of 20 games in which the Knicks win by 15+ and in two of his past three against the 76ers.

Pick: Josh Hart Over 9.5 Rebounds

[gameheader haspick=”true” picktext=”Quentin Grimes Over 21.5 points” league=”nba” awaylogo=”https://images.actionnetwork.com/blog/2023/07/philadelphia-76ers-logo-updated-2023.png” awayname=”Philadelphia 76ers” awayslug=”philadelphia-76ers” homelogo=”https://images.actionnetwork.com/blog/2023/07/new-york-knicks-updated-logo-2023.png” homename=”New York Knicks” homeslug=”new-york-knicks” date=”Tuesday, April 1″ time=”7.30 p.m. ET” network=”NBA League Pass” bookname=”DraftKings ” bookprimarylogo=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/477013_DraftKings@1x.png” bookreviewslug=”draftkings”][/gameheader]

Quentin Grimes has averaged nearly 27 points on 50/40/74 shooting over his past 14 games.

The man is on an absolute heater and in a contract year, meaning he has ample incentive to produce right now. The Sixers — who traded Caleb Martin for Grimes — are clearly invested in Grimes’ development as they continue their rise up the lottery board.

Grimes has gone over this point total 11 times in 14 games.

Pick: Quentin Grimes Over 21.5 Points

The Memphis Grizzlies are spiraling, with nine wins and 15 losses over their past 24 games — when they were the two seed in the Western Conference.

They’ve fired their head coach and a lead assistant, have guys shoving each other on the bench and now find themselves in a third game in four nights spot. They’re also losers of six of their past seven, with the lone win coming over the Utah Jazz.

Another veteran-laden team is playing well and coming for them in a rested and advantageous spot: the Golden State Warriors.

This is more of a fade-the-Grizzlies play rather than a back-the-Warriors situation, but I’m fine with the team that has handled Memphis in many big games in the past.

Pick: Warriors -4

Wild stat: Denver has lost five straight to Minnesota, including all three this season. The last two were blowouts (by 29 and 20), but the Nuggets are 25-12 at home, Nikola Jokic is in MVP form and they’ve got revenge on their mind. Altitude, urgency and pride all point one way tonight.

The Wolves are coming off a fight in Detroit and now step into Ball Arena, where Denver dominates late-season games. The Nuggets are shooting 49.6% at home over their past 10 games, while Minnesota is shooting just 46.2% on the road. Denver ranks third in DReb% and can limit second-chance points. Motivation and the home edge make this the spot.

Pick: Nuggets -3

This is a rare spot where I’m willing to play into a matchup disadvantage. The Wolves seem to have the Nuggets’ number as they beat them in the playoffs last season and are up 3-0 in the season series.

However, it’s so hard to beat a team all four times in a season series, especially when it’s a veteran championship-contending team like the Denver Nuggets, with the league’s best player, an incredibly high basketball IQ and a historically dominant home-court advantage.

I’m backing Denver here.

If the Wolves sweep the Nuggets and take my money, hat tip to them.

Pick: Nuggets -2.5
