The buy signal for the Magic flickered off again on Thursday against the Timberwolves when Orlando missed 25 of 30 shots beyond the arc in a 101-92 loss.

Still, there were some bright signs, such as 35 points from Paolo Banchero and another 20 from Franz Wagner, who together accounted for almost 60% of the Magic’s offense.

Three wins and covers prior, however, suggested that Orlando might be able to move into the 7th spot in the East and at least get the most-favorable assignment(s) at home in the play-in round.

I don’t like the current dynamics for the Kings, who will be making this long trip after breaking a four-game skid at the expense of the fading Blazers on Thursday.

Overall, the Kings have now lost 8 of their last 11 games, with their West play-in spot in jeopardy. Play Magic.

Pick: Magic +1 (-110)

Bam Adebayo is one of my favorite players to watch in this league, but I don’t get why this number is so high.

He’s listed at over/under 10.5 boards tonight against Philly, a number he hasn’t gone over in nine straight games.

He isn’t a poor rebounder by any means, but he does have his dud games on the glass, and now Ke’lel Ware considerably cuts into those opportunities.

My only hesitation is that he’s playing the Sixers, but still, with nine straight Unders, I’d give this a look at least.

Pick: Bam Adebayo Under 10.5 Rebounds (-135)

The Lakers play the Memphis Grizzlies tonight in what would be the current 4 vs. 5 matchup in the West. The Grizzlies just made waves after firing coach, Taylor Jenkins, and that type of move can always have some impact on a locker room.

The player I’m targeting though is Luka Doncic. Luka has gotten back to bombing from 3-point range lately. Over his last 10 games, he is averaging 4.6 3s on 10.5 attempts.

This is even more consistent with LeBron James, and he has taken at least 10 in eight straight games with him making 4+ in all eight.

This spot against the Grizzlies is good from a matchup perspective as well. They play at the fastest Pace in the league, and they allow the seventh-most 3s per game to their opponents. They specifically allow a higher amount of above the break 3s, which is where Luka takes nearly all of his from.

I’ll back Luka to keep up the hot performance from beyond the arc.

Pick: Luka Doncic 4+ Three-Pointers (-132)

Oklahoma City is on a mission, coming off eight straight wins, with seven of those wins coming by double digits. The Thunder’s offense ranks 3rd in PPG (119.9), 2nd in AST/TO (2.59), 5th in eFG%. Defense? Best in the NBA at 106.1 points per 100, lowest opponent FG% (43.5%). They outscore teams by nearly 16 per game at home. Hungry to make history.

The Pacers are running on fumes, playing their 3rd game in the last four nights, and 6th in the last nine. Indiana’s defense has been shaky, allowing 115.2 PPG, 47.5 FG% allowed, bottom-10 in TOs forced. Haliburton dropped 29 last game, but Dort held him to 4 points last time they played OKC. The Pacers are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 on the road, 3-10 overall. Tough spot here.

Last meeting: The Thunder were +14 on points off turnovers. SGA was cooking — 45 points last matchup, 52% FG on the year.

The Thunder lead league in forced TOs (17.1/gm). The Pacers are prone to streaky stretches. OKC is 31-5 at home, chasing history with a 70-win season still in reach. Locked in mentally. Let’s lay the points with the Oklahoma City.

Pick: Thunder -10 (-110)

Reportedly, the Grizzlies surprisingly fired coach Taylor Jenkins because he had lost the locker room. Regardless, I expect the Grizzlies to be highly-motivated at home in their first game since naming Tuomas Iisalo as their interim coach.

The Grizzlies are in stop-the-pain mode and draw the Lakers playing for the third time in four days, fourth time in six days and in their fourth straight road contest.

Memphis is 25-11 (69 percent) at home this season. The Lakers are four games below .500 when playing on the road.

Ja Morant has missed the past six games due to a hamstring injury. He’s questionable here. I like the Grizzlies to beat the Lakers regardless if Morant plays. If he does suit up, it’s just a bonus.

Pick: Grizzlies Moneyline (-135)
