[subheader sizedown=”false” text=”Heat vs. Bulls Three-Pointers Prop”][/subheader]

[gameheader haspick=”true” picktext=”Tyler Herro Over 2.5 Three-Pointers Made (-125)” league=”nba” awaylogo=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/nba/100/mia.png” awayname=”Miami Heat” awayslug=”miami-heat” homelogo=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/nba/100/chi.png” homename=”Chicago Bulls” homeslug=”chicago-bulls” date=”Wednesday, April 16″ time=”7:30 p.m. ET” network=”ESPN” bookname=”bet365″ bookprimarylogo=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/859377_Bet365@1x.png” bookreviewslug=”bet365″][/gameheader]

By Alex Hinton

Tyler Herro has averaged 24.7 points in four games against the Bulls this season. In the process, he has made 11 3-pointers. Going back further, Herro has made three triples in six of his last nine games against the Bulls, knocking down four in four of those games.

The Bulls present a great matchup for him, considering that they are 26th in three-pointers allowed to point guards and 30th to shooting guards. Recently, guards Immanuel Quickley, KJ Simpson, Darius Garland (six), Sam Merrill, Max Strus, Ty Jerome, and JaKobe Walter (five) have all knocked down at least three triples against the Bulls.

For Herro, the volume should be there, considering he has averaged 8.3 three-point attempts against the Bulls and 8.7 for the season. He also attempted 8.6 three-point attempts in the Heat’s series against the Celtics last year.

For a career 38% three-point shooter, I like Herro’s chances of making at least three tonight if he gets that many opportunities. He is also +210 to make four threes on bet365.

Pick: Tyler Herro Over 2.5 Three-Pointers Made (-125)

The Miami Heat come into this winner-take-all game with some clear advantages. They have the more experienced team, the two best players on the court, and the superior coach with rest and prep time to get ready.

The market has been very stagnant thus far, showing no clear sharp side on a game winner.

The total has taken a hit towards the Under, so a correlated angle is Miami thinking this is a grind it out, zone defense, limited possessions game.

All the angles favor the Heat, so I’ll take the short road underdogs at +1.

Pick: Heat +1 (-110)

The Kings face off against the Mavericks in a win-or-go-home Play-In game tonight. They will be without Malik Monk, which should open up a few more minutes for Keegan Murray.

Murray’s size is going to be critical in this matchup anyway against a Mavericks team that is littered with bigs. Murray is averaging 6.7 rebounds per game in about 34 minutes per game.

Tonight, I’d expect him to push that closer to 40, as they have to deal with Anthony Davis, Dereck Lively, Daniel Gafford, and PJ Washington.

When Murray has played 30+ minutes this season, he’s up to 7.4 rebounds per game. I think this line is a full rebound too low.

Pick: Keegan Murray 6+ Rebounds (+100)

[gameheader haspick=”true” picktext=”Patrick Williams Under 12.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-115)” league=”nba” awaylogo=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/nba/100/mia.png” awayname=”Miami Heat” awayslug=”miami-heat” homelogo=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/nba/100/chi.png” homename=”Chicago Bulls” homeslug=”chicago-bulls” date=”Wednesday, April 16″ time=”7:30 p.m. ET” network=”ESPN” bookname=”bet365″ bookprimarylogo=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/859377_Bet365@1x.png” bookreviewslug=”bet365″][/gameheader]

Patrick Williams has spiked some solid April performances in meaningless games, but he’s been pushed aside in the matchups that have mattered. These two teams played on April 9, and Williams was limited to just 14 minutes.

Head coach Billy Donovan rode the starters heavily, and I’d expect him to do it again in a do-or-die spot. Williams has averaged just 4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists when playing less than 20 minutes (14 games).

Miami had a strong close to the season defensively, ranking 6th in defensive rating and points allowed per game over the final 10 games. They’re 27th in pace on the season.

Williams’ best path to playing time is foul trouble for Matas Buzelis, but the Heat have drawn the 2nd-fewest fouls per game.

Pick: Patrick Williams Under 12.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-115)

The Sacramento Kings and the Dallas Mavericks will clash on Wednesday Night. Golden 1 Center will be the site for this highly anticipated matchup. The winner of this contest will face the Memphis Grizzlies for an opportunity to earn the eighth seed. The loser of this contest will see their season come to an end. Doug Christie’s team swept the Mavericks 3-0 during the regular season.

We will be fading Naji Marshall tonight. The former Xavier standout has failed to exceed this total in six of his last nine games, averaging 11.7 points per game. He likely won’t see enough volume to exceed this prop tonight. Our Action Pro Report projects 10.4 points.

Pick: Naji Marshall Under 12.5 Points (-114)
