Mavericks vs Celtics Same Game Parlay for NBA Finals Game 1

Mavericks vs Celtics NBA Finals Game 1 is tonight in Boston, and there’s plenty of different angles you can take when betting this game and series.

On today’s episode of Green Dot Daily, Action Network contributors Brian Matthews and Charlie DiSturco concocted a same-game parlay for Mavericks-Celtics Game 1.

Remember to bet responsibly — this is a long shot for a reason.

  1. Dereck Lively II Over 16.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
  2. Derrick White Over 2.5 Made 3s
  3. Luka Doncic To Record A Triple-Double

Parlay Odds: +1200

Brian Matthews: Dereck Lively II is over this line in five of his last six games, and the one he missed was when he took a knee to the head and left the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Luka Doncic is going to get plenty of attention and see some potential blitzing from the Celtics’ defense, meaning his teammates could be a little busier than usual.

Livery always seems to make the right decision. I like his matchup tonight and expect him to clear this number against the Celtics.

Charlie DiSturco: We’re going with back-to-back Derricks here as I like the Celtics’ Derrick to get over 2.5 made 3s tonight.

Derrick White has made three or more 3-pointers in six of eight home games so far this postseason. He’s also attempted eight or more 3-points in 10 of his last 11 postseason games.

Even with Kristaps Porzingis back for the Celtics, White averaged 6.4 3-point attempts per game.

All of the Mavericks’ defensive attention will be on stopping Jayson Tatum and Jalen Brown, leaving plenty of opportunities for White.

His minutes will be there, too, given his defensive importance.

Brian Matthews: It wouldn’t be a BMatt-Charlie same-game parlay if the odds didn’t jump to 10-1 or higher, so let’s bring us home with this one.

Doncic recorded a triple-double in both of his games against the Celtics during the regular season, and his usage in those games was off the charts.

In the two matchups this season, Doncic’s numbers looked like this:

  • 33 points, 18 rebounds, 13 assists
  • 37 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists

Doncic is playing like the best player in the world right now and even if he is blitzed and double-teamed, it should mean more assists and a bigger night for his teammates.
