The NBA playoffs are here, well, kind of.
Tonight’s early evening game between the Brooklyn Nets and the Cleveland Cavaliers will kick off the association’s Play-In Tournament the 7-10 teams in each conference.
While the Nets will need to win one of the two possible play-in games to make the actual playoffs bracket, they’re the third-favorite to take home the Larry O’Brien trophy, according to oddsmakers. Brooklyn is listed only behind defending champion Milwaukee Bucks as well as Phoenix Suns in the race for the title.

Ben Simmons remains out for the Nets as we head into the playoffs, while Joe Harris is the only other confirmed absence for Brooklyn. Seth Curry is probable as he deals with left ankle soreness.
For the Cavaliers, Jarrett Allen will miss the contest as he continues to rehab a left finger fracture.
Here’s how the Action Network’s NBA PRO Report is evaluating the first play-in game of the season.
