The spread opened up at +8 but with the news of Devin Booker being listed as doubtful, the spread has since dropped.
The Spurs have lost 9 straight against the Suns so they should have some extra motivation to keep this one close. The Suns lack a true point guard with both Beal and Booker out so I like the Spurs. It is a bounce back spot as well after the Spurs got blown out by the Clippers on Sunday.

I think Nurkic is a guy who should be a double-double machine this year. It is a favorable matchup for him because the Spurs are a poor rebounding team as a whole with a starting front-court that features Victor Wembanyama and Zach Collins.
Nurkic already has a 14-14 this season and has started the season off well on his new team.
