Typically, I’d avoid this bet because of the lefty-on-lefty matchup.
But the odds for Gunnar Henderson to hit a homer are too good to pass up.
MacKenzie Gore is a good pitcher, but he’s been an above-average matchup for power and has decent reverse splits. He’s allowed 1.26 home runs per nine innings pitched to left-handed hitters in his career, and Camden Yards is a good park for lefty power.
The weather is a concern, but RotoGrinders Chief Meteorologist Kevin Roth projects that it should be solid-enough hitting weather.
