He’s an incredibly consistent arm for strikeouts in recent seasons, and this year has been no different.
Flaherty’s tallied at least four strikeouts in every outing (one shy of clearing this) this season, and he has cleared this in five of seven overall.
The Rangers are slightly better than average at avoiding strikeouts against right-handed pitchers, but they hand a lot of that back by being just a bad offense against righties in general, with a 87 wRC+ that ranks 27th.
