I’m backing the Padres to bounce back after Wednesday’s gross, 14-0 loss behind superstar player Fernando Tatis Jr.
Tatis went 0-for-4 during the shutout. He’s only had four hitless games this season, but he’s followed up all four with a hit in the next game.
He also has substantial numbers against Bowden Francis’ pitch mix.
I expect Francis to struggle against Tatis and San Diego’s star-studded lineup.
