Pirates vs Tigers Predictions, Best Bet
While the Tigers have struggled lately, they bounced back on Tuesday, scoring seven runs on four home runs in their opening game against the Pirates.
Detroit is a strong 15-5 in its last 20 games against left-handed starting pitchers. That’s good news for this play on Wednesday, as it’ll see another southpaw who struggles with power in Andrew Heaney.
It certainly doesn’t hurt that Tarik Skubal is on the bump in this one for the Tigers, so I’m expecting limited run production from the Pirates.
With Detroit also showing offensive sparks against Heaney, I’m expecting a blowout at Comerica Park.
