We’re backing the Braves to bounce back in this matchup after a rough 12-0 loss in the series opener. Atlanta has been a strong home team, and a response is expected on their home turf.
Spencer Schwellenbach gets the start for the Braves and has been excellent at home, sporting a 2.64 ERA. He’ll face off against Phillies lefty Jesus Luzardo, who has struggled in June with a 5.85 ERA — a tough setup against a dangerous Braves lineup.

This is a great spot for Braves superstar Ronald Acuna Jr. tonight. He’s posted solid career numbers against Jesus Luzardo (3-for-10) and enters the matchup in excellent form.
The four-time All-Star is batting .366 in June and has already racked up nine extra-base hits this month. With his current rhythm at the plate, Acuña is primed for another strong performance.
