The good thing, if you’re with me in backing the Reds here, is that they continue to win, even without Elly De La Cruz playing well. It’ll make a huge difference if that changes.

The Brewers have won 12 straight games, but all good things must come to an end. They won’t win every game for the rest of the year, and Nick Martinez has the right attack to limit an exciting Milwaukee offense.

I’ll take the plus money with the Reds at home.

Pick: Reds Moneyline (+119)

Today’s total is set at 8, which fits perfectly with Evan Abrams’ “Steam Unders with Low O/U Support” system. This strategy targets regular-season games in the 8-10 run range where sharp money has pushed the total down from the opener, but public betting still leans toward the over.

Pick: Under 8 (-110)

The Red Sox team have a totally different look than they did a month ago, as Alex Bregman and Masataka Yoshida bring two low-strikeout guys into the heart of the lineup. As a result, Boston’s projected lineup has a 21.1% strikeout against right-handed pitching this season.

Meanwhile, Sandy Alcantara hasn’t been quite the same pitcher that he was before his Tommy John surgery and is now giving up more power and missing fewer bats. He has just a 16.8% strikeout rate and a 24.5% CSW% on the season.

Pick: Sandy Alcantara Under 4.5 Strikeouts (-125)

The “Road Tilt in the Dead Heat” system targets MLB regular-season games in which two evenly matched teams — based on win percentages — meet in a non-division setting, and one is quietly priced as a modest road favorite. When there’s no clear performance gap, but the market still tilts slightly toward the road team, it suggests underlying confidence from oddsmakers that may not be reflected in public perception. This model seizes those subtle cues and leans into narrow value created by the near-identical records and overlooked road strength.

Overall, this system is 289-181 (61%) and has generated a 10% ROI. This season, the system is running hot as it has cashed 65% of its picks (22-12) and generated a 15% ROI.
