Corey Seager is off to a lax start to the season, but is in a great spot today. Hunter Greene is due for some massive home run regression after last season and grades out as a fantastic matchup for lefty power hitters.

This ballpark is also a massive upgrade for Seager as it’s one of the best home-run parks in the league. I have Seager at close to +200 odds to hit a homer today, which makes him a massive value — even at low odds.

Pitchers across the league should continue to see their pitch counts increase as they go from game to game and get deeper into the season.

We saw Paul Skenes get through 5 1/3 innings in his first start, during which he was able to strike out seven batters. I’m hoping that he’ll be able to get through six innings today. If so, I think we will see the results we are looking for in the strikeout department.

The Los Angeles Angels and the St Louis Cardinals will clash on Wednesday Afternoon.
The Angels come into this contest with a record of 4-1 on the young season, rattling off four consecutive wins after losing on Opening Day.
After starting the season 3-2, the Cardinals have dropped the first two games of this series, both in extra innings.
I’m riding the home favorite to avoid the sweep today. It’s a great bounce-back spot with Sonny Gray, who’s posted strong numbers in his career against this Angels lineup (.236 batting average in 127 at-bats).

This is a scary one, since we have one team (Colorado) with the lowest projection for a first inning run on the slate and another (Philadelphia) with one of the stronger projections.

The Rockies are a terrible offense and taking on Zach Eflin, which pretty much speaks for itself. Their single-team NRFI is -600 at DraftKings, so I’m not worried about them.

It’s the Philadelphia side that poses some risk as they’re pretty strong at the top of the lineup. However, Rockies’ starter Kyle Freeland’s numbers are somewhat skewed by pitching home games at Coors Field, and he was much better earlier in games.

With cold and windy conditions in Philadelphia tonight, runs will likely be hard to come by. However, I wouldn’t fault anyone for hedging with the Phillies single-team YRFI at +195, or their first-inning moneyline at +250.

The Atlanta Braves and the Los Angeles Dodgers will clash in a highly anticipated matchup on Wednesday night.

Atlanta is 0-6 and off to a disastrous start this season while the Dodgers are a perfect 7-0 and looking to repeat as World Series champions.

Atlanta entered the season with the second-best odds of winning the NL East and although the start has been rough, the season is young and there’s still plenty of time to turn things around.

Ozzie Albies has launched one home run and has driven in three runs, while Matt Olson has added three hits, including a pair of doubles. Bryce Elder is set to start for the Braves and despite the awful start, this team is much better than they have shown.

Atlanta will get its offense rolling tonight and keep this game close.
