Marlins starter Sandy Alcantara has started 11 games this season and has allowed AT LEAST two earned runs in EVERY game. He has also allowed at least three earned runs in his past NINE starts.
The Rockies have started to hit a little bit better lately and they should be able to find success against Alcantara, whose return from Tommy John surgery is going about as poorly as possible. The Marlins are forced to start him every time through the rotation, hoping he can turn his season around so that they can try to get some trade value for him in the next two months.
We nailed this prop in Alcantara’s last start for 3 units and we’re going big yet again, betting to win three units. Like the last time we took this bet, this is one of the best plays I have seen all season.

Jake Mangum got the call-up back to the Majors a few days ago, but early in the season, he was a hot hitter for the Rays.
