The Miami Marlins (12-17) and Los Angeles Dodgers (21-10) will clash in LA on Wednesday with Miami looking to avoid getting swept.

Cal Quantrill (2-2, 7.83 ERA) will start for Miami, but I’m going to fade him with pick as I’m backing Freddie Freeman to notch 2+ total bases.

The Dodgers’ first baseman is in a strong position to cash this prop as he has outstanding numbers against Quantrill. In fact, Freeman has gone 8–for-15 with three extra-base hits in his career against Quantrill.

Back Freemand to continue that success tonight.

Fernando Tatis Jr. has been destroying right-handed pitching this season and ranks sixth in the league with a .491 wOBA. He’s also seventh in ISO at .333 and has hit all eight of his home runs against right-handed pitchers.

Additionally, Giants’ starter Landen Roupp has had issues facing righties this season as he’s allowing a .369 wOBA with a .230 ISO.

I’m going back to the well with Gunnar Henderson today as he gets a good matchup vs. Carlos Carrasco, who isn’t the same pitcher he used to be.

Carrasco has been well below average for years and has been averaging about 1.7 HR/9 over the past three seasons. Despite allowing more homers to righties in that span, he grades out as a much better matchup for lefty power.

Additionally, Baltimore is an above average matchup for lefty power and the weather will be good for hitting today with temperatures close to 80 and minimal wind.

I have the true odds of Henderson homering at around +400, making this a great EV bet.

I think this line is just right for Nathan Eovaldi. He’s had a few big strikeout games already this season and although this doesn’t seem like same old Athletics, they do have a 26% strikeout rate this season.

I’ll trust Eovaldi to get it done.
