MLB Home Run Picks for August 16

[subheader sizedown=”true” text=”Francisco Lindor (+450)” subtext=”vs Mariners (SP: RHP Bryan Woo)” center=”false” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/mlb/100/nym.png” link1=”” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/859377_Bet365@1x.png” trailinglink=”” trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]

Mariners starter Bryan Woo has struggled with the long ball this season, allowing a 1.3 HR/9 to both sides of the plate.

Francisco Lindor has been in good form recently, and I have the true odds nearly 100 points lower.

[subheader sizedown=”true” text=”Juan Soto (+320)” subtext=”vs Mariners (SP: RHP Bryan Woo)” center=”false” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/mlb/100/nym.png” link1=”” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/859377_Bet365@1x.png” trailinglink=”” trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]

Aside from the matchup against Woo, the weather in New York is good for hitting, with temperatures in the low 80s and wind blowing out to right at 9 MPH.

WeatherEdge is showing a 13.6% increase in homers.

Juan Soto has been hitting the ball well recently, and I have the true odds around +275.

[subheader sizedown=”true” text=”Pete Alonso (+425)” subtext=”vs Mariners (SP: RHP Bryan Woo)” center=”false” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/mlb/100/nym.png” link1=”” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/859377_Bet365@1x.png” trailinglink=”” trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]

The third Mets player to feature in today’s picks will be a usual candidate.

Pete Alonso has been on a tear recently, hitting an average of .333 with a .733 slugging percentage, three home runs and eight runs batted in over his last seven games.

Tonight, I have the true odds for him around +320.

[subheader sizedown=”true” text=”Nick Kurtz (+330)” subtext=”vs Angels (SP: LHP Tyler Anderson)” center=”false” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/mlb/100/oakd.png” link1=”” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/122955_FanDuelSportsBook@1x.jpg” trailinglink=”” trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]

Angels starter Tyler Anderson has been crushed by lefty power this season, giving up a massive 2.6 HR/9.

The weather is great for hitting, with temps in the 80s and wind blowing out heavily in what is already a great park for hitting.

Nick Kurtz has been slow recently, but he came out of his slump last night. I have the true odds around +275.
