MLB Home Run Picks for June 2
[subheader sizedown=”true” text=”Mike Trout (+340)” subtext=”at Red Sox (SP: RHP Richard Fitts)” center=”false” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/mlb/100/laa.png” link1=”” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/122955_FanDuelSportsBook@1x.jpg” trailinglink=”” trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]
Mike Trout recently returned from the IL. He has yet to hit a homer since returning, but the underlying power numbers look good, and he’s in a decent spot to get back into the bleachers on Monday.
He’ll face off against Red Sox starting pitcher Richard Fitts and long reliever Hunter Dobbins.
We don’t have a big sample size of Dobbins in MLB, but he looks to be an above-average matchup for right-handed power hitters, which is more than enough for me to back Trout at these odds.
[subheader sizedown=”true” text=”Shea Langeliers (+350)” subtext=”vs Twins (SP: RHP Joe Ryan)” center=”false” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/mlb/100/oakd.png” link1=”” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/779359_BetMGM800x200@1x.png” trailinglink=”” trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]
The A’s ballpark is one of the best in MLB for power hitters, and the ball should be flying with winds blowing out and mid-80s temperatures.
Twins starting pitcher Joe Ryan is a massive fly-ball pitcher, and he’s a gas can for right-handed power hitters.
I make the fair odds on this home run prop around +300.
[subheader sizedown=”true” text=”Andy Pages (+480)” subtext=”vs Mets (SP: RHP Paul Blackburn)” center=”false” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/mlb/100/ladd.png” link1=”” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/122955_FanDuelSportsBook@1x.jpg” trailinglink=”” trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]
Andy Pages has been in great form recently, and he’s in another good spot on Monday.
He’ll face off against Mets starting pitcher Paul Blackburn, who has been a gas can for right-handed power hitters in his career (1.42 HR/9 allowed to the side despite playing in a pitcher-friendly ballpark).
Pages is a solid power bat, and I make the fair odds on this home run prop closer to +380.
