Getting Logan Webb and a surging Giants offense at a reasonable underdog price on the moneyline against anyone looks like a bet I want to make.
Sure, it’s against the Yankees, but Webb is such a good pitcher and is off to a terrific start to this season. The Giants should have nearly a full lineup of right-handed bats to attack Yankees starter Carlos Rodon.
While Rodon still has good strikeout ability against right-handed batters, he also is struggling against them this season. He allowed a league-high 28 HRs to right-handed batters last year and he has allowed three already to them this year in three starts.
The Giants’ best bullpen arms are also rested; the Yankees used all their best arms on Saturday. That doesn’t mean they won’t come into the game today, but it’s a little less likely.
This is really a bet on Webb being an underdog against a non-ace pitcher.

Mike Trout is tied for the league lead in home runs entering Sunday with six — he is crushing the ball when making contact.
The Astros are rolling out their fifth starter, Hayden Wesneski, who was a reliever for the majority of his short MLB career before this season.
Wesneski is throwing his fastball over 50% of the time to right-handed batters, and Trout has long been one of the better fastball hitters in the league. Five of Trout’s homers this season have come off fastballs.

The weather today in St. Louis is sneakily outstanding for bats. It’s going to be in the 70s with winds blowing out to left at about 15-20 MPH.
This Phillies offense, which projects as one of the best in LMB, is drawing an extremely shaky Matthew Liberatore and a horrible Cardinals bullpen behind him.

We’ve seen different versions of Diamondbacks starter Zac Gallen this season. He threw nearly seven shutout innings against the Yankees only to follow it up with five earned runs and two strikeouts against the Orioles.
However, we should expect Gallen to positively regress against a swing-happy Brewers lineup.
The Brewers have several batters with high strikeout rates against right-handed pitching, so if Gallen is on his game, he has the chance to showcase the upside we saw two starts ago.
The market is behind him, as he exceeded this total in 54% of his starts last season.
We’re getting a great price at DraftKings, where sharper books have this closer to -125.
