Nick Galaida’s Guardians vs Nationals Preview, Prediction
[subheader sizedown=”true” center=”false” text=”Cleveland Guardians Player Prop: Tremendous Value” logo1url=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/91388_guardians20241.png” link1=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/mlb/odds/cleveland-guardians” link1follow=”false”][/subheader]
Luis L. Ortiz is far from MLB’s most efficient pitcher.
Still, Guardians manager Steven Vogt will likely lean on him as much as possible in Game 1 of Tuesday’s doubleheader against the Guardians, especially at the beginning of a new week.
Ortiz has thrown as many as 104 pitches in a start this season, and he has a track record of benign pulled in the middle of an inning. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him come out for the sixth inning to face only one or two batters.
We’re getting good value on this prop, given the situation and the fact that Washington has been only slightly more aggressive than the average MLB lineup in recent weeks.
Pick: Luis L. Ortiz Over 15.5 Pitching Outs
