Hill made his 2025 debut last Tuesday, completing five innings and throwing 90 pitches against the Cubs.
Tonight, he’ll likely be tasked with recording at least 15 more outs, considering the state of the Royals’ bullpen entering the new week.
Hill faced 23 batters against the Cubs, so he should have some leash in this spot — especially against a Braves offense that has been in the bottom tier against left-handed pitchers in recent weeks, ranking 24th in wRC+ during the last 14 days.
Braves vs Royals Best Bets, Pick
Along with their general struggles against lefties, the Braves have also been one of the more aggressive offenses in baseball against southpaws, so Hill shouldn’t find himself in too many deep counts as long as he can find the strike zone.
