The Diamondbacks started the series with a 7-5 win over the Yankees and followed it up with a 4-3 victory last night. After a 1-2 start to the season, Arizona has won three consecutive games.
Manager Torey Lovullo led the D-backs to the World Series in 2023, but they lost to the Texas Rangers. Shortstop Geraldo Perdomo is leading the team with a .350 batting average. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. has added two home runs and five RBIs. Eugenio Suarez, meanwhile, leads MLB with five home runs and 11 RBIs.
